Whew another Fashion Week has come and gone. It was a busy one, fun but busy. After a busy weekend attending a variety of Fashion Week events The week started with the Nolcha Fashion Shows I attended the Main show and the Collective show. The main show featured returning designers Acid NYC and Rohitava Banerjee and also featured new comer Samantha Leibowitz. I was almost late for the Main show as there was no internet connection in the lobby of the building I work in and it took me a half hour to get an Uber. Needless to say I was bit frazzled when I arrived and had to stand for the first presentation, though I was able to take some snaps so all was not lost.
The Main show opened with Samantha Leibowitz a designer known for making edgy but approachable clothes for the urban woman. From splashy painterly prints to out of the box off the shoulder tops to strappy pull overs this collection is a wearable and youth inspired celebration with a touch of a rock-n-roll edge. And do you recognize one of the models? I had time to kill between shows and stepped outside for some air where I recognized a young women I was convinced I knew. Was she a blogger? Was she part of the NYC Style Collective? Did I meet her before?
After racking my brain with no results I approached her and inquired if was a blogger, no, she is not a blogger but a model and got her start on America’ Next Top Model, of course! That was it! Then I knew exactly who she was. Only in New York! And stay tuned for the rest of the coverage…

What a fun and edgy collection!
Cool runway design
You caught some pretty good pics of the show. I like that print that looks like paint splatters. Yes too bad our paths didn’t cross at Kuho.
Love the up and coming designer, very wearable, edgy and real!
I am so goad you go there, what a mess the streets were!
