This was the second show I attended this season and it was a highlight for sure. I was well rested and attended the show with Selma of SelmaStyle. The collection was a colorful celebration showing-casing Michael Costello’s mastery of draping. A happy and exuberantly feminine silhouette featuring wonderfully flowing textiles in warm corals, vibrant reds, shimmering metallics, and pastel hued tropical botanical patterns. A gorgeous display and a bright light in rather dark times. And quite the contrast to the Rick Owens show in Paris– a reflective dystopian expression of darkness, more on that in a future post. To see a ringside view of the Michael Costello show be sure to check out my video on Fashion Week for Spring Summer 2019.
