Hello all, here is the second installment of Link Love Express. You can check out the first one here. For my newer readers this is an on going post series in which I will sharing my favorite finds in the worlds of fashion, interior design, beauty, food and what ever else strikes my fancy. Sound good? OK, let’s dive right in…
Model Jillian Mercado signs with IMG and is part of a growing (albeit small) list of model’s with disabilities that are working with brands and modeling agencies in a world that is not always known for being particularly inclusive. But with the democratizing of fashion, this seems to be changing. Jillian started out as a student a F.I.T and blogger. And it was through her blog that she got the attention of the fashion world. Be sure to check out her blog Manufactured 1987.
Minted.com known for their beautiful and whimsical invitations has now started both an art and home category on their site. Head to Minted.com to check out the new categories. We now have another fun resource for affordable art, how cool is that?
I discovered the Swiss blogger Michele of the blog Fashion Fraction a number of months ago and fell in love with her blog. As we both work as graphic designers ( me in publishing and she in advertising) I kind of felt she was a bit of a kindred spirit. Be sure to check out her blog FashionFraction.com you will be sure to find plenty of fashion inspiration and drool worthy photography.
And finally another favorite blogger of mine Garance Dore is coming out with a book. It is going to be released October 27th and is available for pre-order. I can just imagine how cool this it girl book is, really it is a no brainer that this book should be on every fashionista’s must have list. You can pre-order it here
