A J Crew Metallic Gold Bucket Bag Perfect for Strolling About Town

They say shoes make the outfit, but I think the right bag is the perfect accessory to pull a look together. This gold metallic bucket bag from J Crew which I picked up on sale for $74.00 down from $115, is the perfect size for day spent strolling around. Big enough to fit a small wallet, a phone, sunnies, and a pack of gum or two— but not too big either. Being a New Yorker and a commuter I am all about the big bag, but on my days off when I want to relax and kick it with my girls the last thing I want to do is lug around a big heavy bag. Right? And doesn’t it look perfect with these breezy white J Crew gazebo pants? Of course I didn’t want to look too preppy, I mean I am a former goth, so I added this edgy pull over I picked up at Therapy Life N Style in Sayville. in Monday’s post, super chic huh. The hat is from Gap, and the shoes are from COS , they were a bit more then I wanted to spend at $125 but they are super comfortable, great for walking around and they are well made. Last year I saw a pair of shoes I wanted in COS but I hesitated and when I returned to the store a week and a half later they were sold out. So I was not about to allow that to happen again. And sure enough these did sell out in the store though not online. Luckily, this bag is also not sold out, and it comes in multiple colors.
