Over-sized statement necklaces were a huge trend a number of seasons ago. And although we still see the bold-can’t-be-missed necklaces about, the trend now seems to be swinging in the opposite direction with a more toned down approach. Though no less eye catching this sought after look features layers of necklaces mainly pendents, medallions and charms—preferably in gold. And in particular the medallion is really having moment. From A Listers like Kim Kardashian to YouTube stars to the biggest bloggers and influencers this is a super hot item on every fashionista’s must-have list.
Have you jumped this trend? If so, what influenced your purchase
I just ordered my first one from Nordstrom from the brand LuluDK. It was on sale from $68.00 down to $30.00! I am so excited to get it and I can not wait to share it with you my dear readers. Have you jumped this trend? If so, what influenced your purchase? If not, what is your go to jewelry trend of the moment.

I can’t say that I’ve really spotted this trend but I can see why it’s popular as it’s chic and low key at the same time. You always find the best bargains! Looking forward to seeing how you style your necklace Allie!
Yep chic and low key
Love this trend! I think I might have something similar in the ol’ jewelry wardrobe- gotta dig and find out!

Oh yes get a few, I just got my first one, can’t wait to show it off to everyone
Oooh yeah! I remember the huge madness about colossal necklaces and I dare to say that they are dead haha (at least for now). In my opinion I prefer the minimal but consistent details like this kind of tiny necklaces. Love the selection of pictures you showed us, seems that the trend is going to be here for a long time and in my opinion couldn’t be better ’cause a tiny necklaces could be worn with almost anything (or with anything I’d say if you compare it with a big necklace). 😉
I still like the over-sized pieces but you ,know fashion have to keep changing it up, don’t want us fashionistas to get bored.
