For those of you with thick, flowing, frizz free hair thank your lucky stars. But for the rest of us, hat head is a real thing, and a dreaded aspect of winter that puts a definite “dent” in our lewks. Nothing is worse then pulling off your sodden woolen topper to struggle with the triple threat of flattened, sweaty and stand out static clingy hair. Ugh. In the summer months I have to deal with greasy bangs due to the three H’s, and in winter I have to deal with greasy bangs due to them being mashed up against my forehead from wearing a hat.
So a few years ago when they became a bit of trend I decided to try ear muffs or ear warmers, and they have been a god send
Not a good look. So a few years ago when they became a bit of trend I decided to try ear muffs or ear warmers, and they have been a god send. I can stay warm and toasty and viola, I still have perfectly blown out hair. And it seems I am not the only one. Last winter when attending Fashion Week I had jewelry designer who I was attending shows with, confide in me that she too wears ear warmers and she wears them for the same reason that I wear them. So if you struggle with this problem you may want to give ear muffs a go. And luckily they come in so many styles and colors there should one to match any outfit of the day.
I picked up these blue faux fur ear warmers at Banana Republic. But if you are looking for more neutral colors Amazon has a nice selection that are still in stock, or you can click through the samples below.

I used to wear ear muffs when I was younger and loved it then, haven’t embraced it now though – but I love it though. Looks chic and is definitely a cozy option! Have a lovely week gorgeous! Xx

Oh Ear muffs are really so much better for your hair than hats and there are so many chic options out there. I wish I could wear them but I just don’t well in the cold unless I have both a hat and my hood on so they would be wasted on me.
The ear muff is soooo cute! I don’t have one mainly because it’s never too cold here but hey, I might pick it up anyway because it’s seriously cute!
Love these ear muffs! SO cute!
Happy New Year, babe!

Ear muffs are so cute and are the perfect way to avoid hat hair!
That’s actually a really good idea – I’m going on a ski trip soon so I’ll have to get some ear muffs!

I wish it got cold enough where I live so I can wear earmuffs as well.
