Although I love styled posts, I also a fan of in-the-moment snapshots of every day life, so I am sarting a new series called Candid Allie, in this series I want to post more real life images. Moments from my life spent with friends out and about just living life. With my super busy schedule not sure how often I will be able to post in this series but it is a goal for the coming year. In today’s post I am sharing photos of a day spent on the west of New York when my friend India was in town visiting from Seattle.
I hope India visits again soon. Isn’t she so photogenic?
I love when India comes to town, I always meet such fun and interesting people and we have a wonderful time socializing. On this day we met at the High Line and then had dinner close by in the Meat Packing district. A few days earlier we also met in Brooklyn and went to the Bowie exhibit which was a brilliant exhibit. I hope India visits again soon. Isn’t she so photogenic? And what’s up with my Seinfeld slow-flow shower head hair? Yup girls the struggle is real. I am hoping all the construction in my hood with the rippling up of the street and laying down of new pipes to eliminate rust in the water is going to result in better hair days. Wish me luck!

This is such a fun slice of life post. I love these natural and candid photos. They really tell a story. You look like you are truly enjoying your friend. Also love the mix of stripes that you are wearing with your friends floral, and you are both very photogenic. It’s so funny we both recently posted about candid photographs. Great minds!

This looks like it will be a really fun series! The High Line is full of great things to do. Looks like you had an amazing time with India and your other friends. Gosh I really wanted to go see the Bowie exhibit but I kept putting it off.
So nice to spend some time with your friend from out of town. I still have yet to go to the High Line. Maybe when I’m in next in NYC.
Everytime I go to NewYork I want to visit the High line! Sounds like you had a fab time with India xx
