I love sweaters and they are one of the reasons I am kind of a fan of winter. A chic, sexy sweater is a must have to get through the dark days of this frigid season. Actually one can not have enough sweaters right? From chunky knits to fitted cropped pull overs, to slouchy cardigans and romantic cowls, sweaters are the comfort food of fashion. So when I spied this long sleeved beauty in Anthropologie last week I knew it would end up in my closet. I love how it straddles the fence between a top and a sweater. The wide scoop necked collar with it’s lace detail which extends along the full length of the sleeves is a stand out detail and keeps this sweater from being just a basic pull over. I also like the tunic like cut and the extra length. I think I am going to style it with a pair of skinny jeans and some knee high boots. Or I could try it with a metallic skirt, like it is styled here at Anthropologie, but suffice is to say this a versatile, comfortable and fashion forward way to step out in style this winter.

I love the lace detail on this sweater! I hardly ever wear sweaters because I tend to run warm, but this winter I have been thinking of picking up a few in case it is very cold!

actually, I love sweater too, though I don’t get to wear them much here due to the humid hot weather, unless I know that I will be heading into an air-conditioned place… but they are super comfy, that’s why I love them.
