You may be inspired to take a spirited romp across the serengeti after viewing Akris’s Pre-fall collection for 2016. A sporty and androgynous line up of wearable pieces are subtly highlighted with beautifully artful photo prints of safari animals. A flock of karmispints make their way across a tunic aline dress and button down blouse, while a heard of lions appear along the rim of a car coat and can also be seen in a tone on tone treatment on a graphical tee. These stand out pieces are balanced by more restrain garments that suggest travel to a rugged climate, and the overall collection comes together with dressier pieces like the “tuxedo” ensemble and culminate with evening gowns featuring glittering sequins and an iridescent snake like print.
