A French Connection Flared White Lace Skirt and a Fun Look for Summer

T his is officially the second midi skirt that I own. I picked it up last month at another sale they were having at the French Connection in Soho. They were having an additional forty percent off the sale price so I ended up paying $39.99 for this skirt. It is still on sale and they are having an additional seventy percent off plus free shipping, but you have to enter your email address to get the sale code. There is also a matching top that goes along with it that I did not see when I was in the store. I will have to pop back in and see if it is there because it really does look great together. I styled my skirt with a black short sleeve button down that I have had for over a decade, and then added this fun tote from Anthropologie. I also paid $39.99 for the tote and it was an even better deal then the skirt—you can read more about that in this post. The Sunnies I picked up at American Apparel also in Soho. I love the sea foam color and the super dark tint of the shades. Plus, this sea foam color just happens to match the tote so of course I had to style them together. I then added a pop of color with the bracelets which pick up some of the colors in the tote. The skull bracelet is from Bauble Bar and the other two were gifted to me when I attended an event sponsored by Lucky Magazine.  And just a heads up, they are currently having  a sale a Bauble Bar and there are some really good deals to be had, so be sure to pop over and have a look around. Finally I threw on these orange sandals from Aerosoles. I bought them a number of years ago and they are kind of like strappy Birkenstocks. They are super comfortable and the orange is nice way to add an additional pop of color to my look.
