Hi high summer everyone. It is super hot and humid here in New York, though on this day it was not unbearable after 6 weeks of rain and 3 weeks of living in a furnace we did get some semi nice weather. The plan was to go to Williamsburg but not trains were running not the 4, 5,6, 7 or the shuttle. So we ended up staying in mid town.
The upside is I discovered a great sample sale store and there will be an up coming haul featuring the pieces that I got. I hope you enjoy!

As much as I love summer, between the rain and the 90 degree weather, it’s been hellish. Glad you found a fun shop and a good meal.

We’re going through our 3rd heatwave over here in the UK and our houses are NOT built for it! They’re not air conditioned and are insulated within an inch of their lives so trap every last scrap of heat. 🙁 So you have my sympathies, even if you did have a good day shopping.

It’s quite cold here in Poland right now. First, there was a week or two of heat, and now it’s been two weeks of cold, and there’s no telling when it will change. I miss the sun; I’d love to go swimming! 😀 Warmest regards!

It is lovely that you have some semi-decent weather. The summer heat can be really exhausting. So, sometimes even a small drop in temperature can make us feel so much better. For me it is easier to feel energetic when the temperatures are bearable. I don’t mind the hot weather but up to a degree. Everything over 36 Celsius is very hard to bear. I tire so easily when the temperatures climb higher. When they reach 40 degrees, I’m not capable for anything.
So great you found a new sample shop. The best discoveries often happen like that- when we don’t plan for anything or when we improvise. I’m looking forward to seeing your haul.
