Katie Gallagher’s presentation for Fall 2018 True Red was aptly held on Valentine’s Day. With her darkly romantic aesthetic and touches of whimsy this lineup is a sexy yet sensually demure collection of lingerie inspired looks.
Featuring black woolen and velvet garments with panels of contrasting sheer mesh textiles, the collection is a gothic dream of understated delight. The stand out pieces included sleeves that were wrapped and bound and skirts with high slits and polka dot ribbons. Voluminous tops were worn over sleek, fitted ankle grazing skirts, while red berets and red leather leggings balanced out the predominance of black. Add rose petal pasties and some flirtatious fur inspired stoles and this lineup is sure to please the most ardent of romantics.
