Zara, A Summer Sale and My Prayers Have Been Answered

Ask you shall receive. For a while now I have been wanting a mid block heeled fringe sandal.  One morning this past spring while walking in Soho, I saw a young woman wearing a pair of block high-heeled fringe sandals. They were kind of an orange color, had a stacked heel and just about stopped me my tracks. Ever since then I have been on the look out for a pair like this but with a lower heel. The ones she was wearing were kind of high. Despite my avid looking, I did not come across a pair like this that was not 4 inches or higher. I did seem some that were very similar to what she was wearing but the heels were always too high.

I kept thinking about them but had kind of given up when at work the other day my coworker pulled a pair of shoes out of a bag and said “Hey Alicia look at these shoes I got at Zara” I couldn’t believe it, they were exactly what I have been looking for! She told me they were on sale and that I better get to the store tout suite. Well I took a look online and luckily they had my size, they are now $29.99 down from $89.90. Umm let me do the math here, but that is more then half off.  I mean duh how can I not buy these? Currently they only have 6 or 6 and half. They could have them in the stores though, as my coworker recently purchased hers, but hey as Zara is having a huge sale it is the perfect excuse to “pop in” have a look. You know, just “look around”. It’s not like you have to buy anything, right?
