Here is part two of my day spent in the Hamptons. With a quick outfit change I was ready to go. Here I am wearing the same pair of jeans from Levis and using the same cross body bag from Rebecca Minkoff, but this time the look is a bit more fall inspired.
This look could be worn in the spring or fall and even in the summer on a less sweltering day. I love this top from Shein because I am a secret Parisian. This over sized slouchy tee is super comfortable and the knit is soft, with a fairly heavy feel to it—it is not too thin. The added cut out detail on the shoulder and neckline adds just enough interest to keep it from being the average tee shirt.
It was a bit windy this day so I threw on this bomber from Ted Baker which I picked up last summer and got for a song. OK, maybe not a song, but it was %40 off so it was quite the deal. I had looked at in the shop when it was full price at about $400 and contemplated getting it but talked myself out of the purchase.
And I love how the embroidery on these Steven Madden slides picks up the embroidery in the jacket, matchy matchy in a good way
So when I went back in the store a month later and it was on sale I snatched it up in a heartbeat. And I am so glad I did. I love this jacket, it is a keeper for sure. And I love how the embroidery on these Steven Madden slides picks up the embroidery in the jacket. Matchy matchy in a good way. Yay!
We shot this look towards the end of day and it had gotten chilly so having this jacket came quite in handy. And who might this cute white bundle of joy be? This is Merlin my friend Laurie’s Chihuahua. This was an impromptu shot and I must say Merlin was quite cooperative. After we finished shooting this look we had a lovely dinner at an Italian restaurant across the street. It was a wonderful day and I am looking forward to many more to come! Happy summer everyone!
