What a difference a couple of weeks makes. Wow was it cold the day I shot this. It was so cold I had to stop shooting. I was underdressed for sure. The trousers from And Other Stories though quite nice in this fun plaid pattern are a fairly thin cotton. And this top from Sandro which I love is what I would call “breathable”. Literally the air blew right through the the decorative weave.
The coat from Shein I have been wearing all fall but today it was winter cold. I was to say the least, quite underdressed. I really should have been wearing a sweater, winter coat and a hat and gloves. Oh well. Live and Learn.
all I could think to myself in these dark times,—Where is our Live Aid? Were is our QUEEN?
And soon I will be switching bags for winter but this bag from Michael Kors is perfect for the fall. I love it. As we know saddle bags are having a moment because of Dior and this over-sized version with its fun tassels has served me well this fall on both sides of the pond.
I shot this with my friend Laurie and we did so shortly before we went to see Bohemian Rhapsody. And I am glad we had the shoot before the movie because I cried. The film was a bit hokey in spots in that Hollywood kind of way but got better about half way through. The lead though was incredible and an extra star for all the wonderful music and the recapturing of the essence of the time.
And at the end all I could think to myself in these dark times was,—where is our Live Aid? Were is our QUEEN?1
