A SANDRO TOP AND OTHER STORIES TROUSERS AND AN OVER-SIZED SADDLE BAG

What a difference a couple of weeks makes. Wow was it cold the day I shot this. It was so cold I had to stop shooting. I was underdressed for sure. The trousers from And Other Stories though quite nice in this fun plaid pattern are a fairly thin cotton. And this top from Sandro which I love is what I would call “breathable”. Literally the air blew right through the the decorative weave.

The coat from Shein I have been wearing all fall but today it was winter cold. I was to say the least, quite underdressed. I really should have been wearing a sweater, winter coat and a hat and gloves. Oh well. Live and Learn.

all I could think to myself in these dark times,—Where is our Live Aid? Were is our QUEEN?

And soon I will be switching bags for winter but this bag from Michael Kors is perfect for the fall. I love it. As we know saddle bags are having a moment because of Dior and this over-sized version with its fun tassels has served me well this fall on both sides of the pond.

I shot this with my friend Laurie and we did so shortly before we went to see Bohemian Rhapsody. And I am glad we had the shoot before the movie because I cried. The film was a bit hokey in spots in that Hollywood kind of way but got better about half way through. The lead though was incredible and an extra star for all the wonderful music and the recapturing of the essence of the time.

And at the end all I could think to myself in these dark times was,—where is our Live Aid? Were is our QUEEN?

I can imagine it was cold with your cool and beautiful look on that day … and I see you were really touched by the Queen film. I didn’t see the film so far but I heard that this film is fantastic.

Great top and trousers! I have also seen the movie and I loved it. I wonder if Rami Malek will win any awards for his role. He’d deserve them!

It’s too bad that the weather wasn’t warmer – you looked fabulous rocking that outfit!
I love the appearance and knit of that Sandro top. Your outfit looks fabulous and very fashionable.
That show Bohemian Rhapsody sounds like it was amazing.
In these dark times, you and many others may have to take over as “Champions of the World”!

P.S.: I didn’t realise the video would automatically embed itself like that.. so I won’t include the URLs with this comment.. but immediately after I made the comment above I re-watched “Queen – Bohemian Rhapsody (Official Video)” on the Queen Official channel on Youtube.. but didn’t see “Live Aid” on that channel..
It sounds like it was a very emotional and musically excellent show.

Love the combination of the top and your pants! The brown melts the two together so well. The sunnies matches this outfit so well too. Lovely dose of inspo!! Xx

Too bad you were under dressed because that top is super nice. And it goes with the trousers so nicely.

I’m obsessed with this outfit, those shades are stunning and the plaid print of the trousers are the perfect vibe for Autumn! The sweater and bag are everything too 🙂 So glad you enjoyed Bohemian Rhapsody, it was such a gem of a movie wasn’t it! ♥︎

I love the mix of patterns in this look! That coat is gorgeous and I love the top, although I can definitely see what you mean by breathable. Stay warm!
