NOLCHA SHOWS SS 2019–KAVENLIU DIMOR AND ARANYANI

I am back from Paris and I am finally able to share my coverage of the Nolcha Shows for SS 2019. I attended the last set of shows and was able to capture some snaps of the designers showing with the exception of the first set which featured handbags, but they were too low for me to shoot.

Vanessa Williams was on hand and introduced the shows expressing her admiration for young talent and all the hard work and dedication that goes in to creating a collection, especially independently

I am featuring highlights from these shows. It was great to be able to see the garments up close and in person and to take part in the emergence of young talent. Vanessa Williams was on hand and introduced the shows expressing her admiration for young talent and all the hard work and dedication that goes in to creating a collection, especially independently.

I wish I had more to share but I must admit I struggled this fashion week. I got sick in July and I never fully recovered with a lingering cough. Then I got sick again in Paris. From colds, to leaving my vlogging camera at work the first day, to an awful shoot in Paris with an unprepared photographer, to a terrible flight home, it was all a bit of struggle this season.

I hope you enjoy my coverage, and to learn more about the designers showing this year KavenLiu Dimor and Aranyani head to NolchShows.com

Oh wow she is definitely a talent – I really like how she worked with different textures for this collection! From the ruffles to the pvc in the hair, the contrasts are perfect! Thank you for sharing your highlights dear <3

It’s always great to see the work of emerging young talents in fashion and from the looks you highlighted, these designers have bright futures ahead of them. Sorry to hear you got sick. Lingering coughs are the worst and can be very hard to shake. Hope you’re well again.

I love seeing young talent unfold ! The garments are lovely indeed, a great sense of proportion and the right about of frills to edge..
I remember when Vanessa Williams and Olivia, of Alice and Olivia were both nearby in my suburban New York suburb, ..and I was relatively unaware of who they were. Busy being a mom I guess?
    Great coverage Allie!
