Monday I attend the Nolcha shows at Beam. I attended two shows, the first one was the “Ones to Watch” show which features up and coming designers. The first designer to show was Mariana Valentina. Mariana hails from New York were she was born. She was raised in the Hamptons and credits her Argentine and European heritage and her exposure to high society people from around for influencing her work. Attending The Fashion Institute of Technology Mariana went on to work for several high end boutiques, showrooms, and styling agencies before launching her own line.To learn more about Marina and her work head to MarianaValentina.com

  1. Her use of such vivid colors is quite refreshing and unexpected for fall and the silhouettes make quite a statement as well. It’ll be interesting to see where Mariana goes from here.

  2. The show must have been amazing as the fashion is perfect! I love both the colours and the shapes.

  3. I adore this collection as it seems to celebrate women’s silhouettes with silky, figure complimenting fabrics! Love the designs.

  4. Beautiful pictures! The satin gowns are gorgeous 🙂

  5. Thanks for sharing these. I saw the third design before in another report on the show. Quite dramatic.

  6. J’adore! great post. bisous
