A couple of weeks ago I wrote about the real Crazy Rich Asians and one of them was Heart Evangelista. I have to admit I had quite the stereotype in my head of extremely privileged wealthy young women. You know, women whose main occupation is shopping and lunching and dinning with friends. Well I had my eye brows raised a bit when I learned Heart Evangelista is an artist. I was picturing a large white canvas with the preverbal black dot in the center. I was not expecting eye opening talent.

Wow talented she is, I am duly impressed and can only describe her work as stunning. A word that is throw about quite a bit but in this context it is aptly used. She is often compared to Klimt among other expressionists, but her work stands on it’s own and I can understand the much deserved buzz surrounding this gorgeous babe. She also does not wear or condone fur—not common among the uber rich it seems. And she is also not immune to tragedy losing both of her twins in a miscarriage. So sometimes money does not solve everything.

She recently started a site called Love Marie Escudero (her real name) and she will be launching a YouTube channel this month. And I for one will certainly be following along.

    I love Heart Evangelista,
    she is such a fashionista,
she has the face, body, and personality
to be one. We went to her taping once
    and she is so nice.

I’ve read about her, she’s a real life crazy rich asian, but she definitely deserves all the attention she’s getting now. She’s fab, and she’s really creative. I’ve heard she paints designer bags too, and they’re wonderful.

She is so talented, and it’s great she is starting her own site!

So sad to read about her heartbreak though 🙁 I haven’t heard of her before but I do hope that she is blessed with children one day if not already.

Hope you are having a wonderful start to your weekend 🙂

I also started reading about her more after seeing the Bazaar video. Her art is gorgeous and I found it touching how she expressed her feelings of grief and loss through her art.
