This Fashion Week was a quick one for me as in one day. I have a lot going on right now with selling my mom’s house, closing and moving. Between that and a full time job I had no time this season to focus on Fashion Week. No time to prepare, no time to attend shows, and pretty much just super wiped out from all that is going on in my life. I hope things will be more settled and back to normal next season. In the meantime I hope you enjoy my one day coverage of Fashion Week with Flying Solo.
Kudos to you for soldiering through and covering this fashion show despite everything else going on in your life!
I loved watching your makeup beauty GRWM / tutorial at the beginning of the video.
Your smoky metallic look eyeshadow came out looking beautiful, and your perfectly applied lipstick also looks very pretty.
Your mum’s butterfly pendant is beautiful – it’s nice that you were wearing it!
It looked really cold up there on the roof as you waited for the start of the Flying Solo Fall / Winter 2022 fashion show at NYFW!
The models looked fabulous as they negotiated the cold, snow and slippery conditions whilst showcasing the lovely couture on the roof, starting at 8:53 of the video with the underwear as outerwear look.
Some of those fabrics look absolutely dreamy! I loved watching the show!
I also loved watching he street style photoshoot starting at 14:12 of the video.

You look great, one would’t say you are facing all this but you should take it slow because even if it doesn’t show, your body is under stress and needs to repair itself.
I also use many Sephora products, just as you said good quality and good prices. As for the fashion week, I am glad to see that the things are slowly coming back to normal.
P.S: Your mom’s butterfly pin is absolutely gorgeous!
So surreal to see these warm weather creations being worn by models outside while it’s snowing. They are beautiful designs though. I love the bold colours numbers. Thanks for sharing. Have a lovely day!

Thanks for bringing us a bit of your life in the NYFW edition of this year. I really enjoyed all the trip part and to see how you are wearing that cosmic blue tone in your make up! The flying solo show looks impressive, specially with all the snow falling down. But I imagined going to a show (as a reporter, blogger or model) is really tricki under those weather conditions.

I know it must be hard getting stuff out of your mom house to put up for sell but hope you see the best memories to cherish from going through her stuff .
Great coverage Allie! I love that the weather did not stop the show. The models must have been freezing but they looked amazing! I hope your life settles down soon. It is so stressful selling a home.
