ou can take one look at this collection and know that the Olsen twins are behind it. Known for their layered, boho urban aesthetic this collection stays in line with this approach but does so it a more streamlined manner. Hemlines, are long—very long. Waistlines are dropped yet trousers waists remain high. Silhouettes are also long and are undisturbed by cinched waists or darts. Details are kept to a minimum and there is a complete absence of prints. Neutral colors in flat panels are sewn together to create an unfettered, unapologetic expression of the female form that is at once freeing and restrained. There is not a cocktail dress in sight. The garments in this collection speak to the independent women who embraces function over form, but knows that form can express itself in multiple ways and it can be an expression in of itself. An expression of color, line, and an unspoken sexuality.
