Ronny Kobo SS2020 For Lookbook Friday

Happy Friday everyone on the eve of New York Fashion Week. Today I am sharing a newer brand that is becoming quite the darling of the influencer social media scene. Ronny Kobo was founded in 2009 by Ronny Kobo after working for years as an accessories designer. And the brand really seems to have it’s finger on the pulse of what is happening not only in the fashion industry itself, but also what is happening on the streets, and in the online world of influence.

The silhouettes are the cornerstone of the brands look and have more then a passing brush with the nineteen eighties with it’s distinct silhouette

[pullquote align=”left” style=”style2″ width=”281″ size=”25″ line_height=”37″ bg_color=”#222222″ txt_color=”#ffffff”]The collection for spring does indeed straddle the fence between these two unlikely eras of fashion but upon closer inspection the nineteen twenties and nineteen eighties had more in common then at first glance.[/pullquote]

[bigletter]The silhouettes are the cornerstone of the brands look and have more then a passing brush with the nineteen eighties with it’s distinct silhouette. Prominent shoulders, statement sleeves and cinched ruched waist dresses are the brands bread and butter with later influences invoking an earlier Chanel inspired vibe. The collection for spring does indeed straddle the fence between these two unlikely eras of fashion but upon closer inspection the nineteen twenties and nineteen eighties have more in common then at first glance.[/bigletter]

Wherever your personal fashion tastes lie, one can not argue that the brand creates inspiring, daring and bold silhouettes that speaks to todays take no prisoners modern day woman.

  15. Thank you so much for sharing this brand. I learn something new each day and must say I am SOOO loving Ronny Kobo now. Can’t wait to get my hands on some of her creations. The blend of eras in her design sits perfectly with me as I love the vintage looks like the puff sleeves, yet with a modern silhouette.

  20. A little bit of Italian extravaganza + unexpected color palettes in the most surreal spaces, I always say the venue or spot where you shoot the collection is also important to tell a story behind the pieces!

    Thanks for sharing!
