Well Fashion Week starts this week and yes I still have more photos from Paris Fashion Week to post. But when you take over two thousand photos you have to distribute them over time, oui? These shots were take outside the Palais de Tokyo and I can not remember what show this was. I shot so many photos and was running around non stop, but I should have shot the info outside the venue so I would remember, a pro tip I ignored. Anyway, these are some off the models I snapped after the show. The hair and makeup are quite striking which surprises me that I can not find any information online regarding this show. At any rate I loved shooting these models. It was great to capture them in the frenzy that is Fashion Week. I may have been tired, and I may have been forgetful, but for all the hard work and exhaustion I would not trade it in for the comfort of sitting back and watching it all unfold from my computer. I love being there where the action is, and capturing a moment, and then having that moment captured in time, to be revisited again and again, when ever I fancy.

Make up and hair could be tricky when it comes to FW shows and I feel there are many ways to put creativity that can complement clothes!

Thank you for taking the time to edit and share over time rather than putting them up all at once. I don’t think most people understand that no one has the attention span to look at that many photos at any one time.

Just WOW, WOW, WOW! I would trade a weeks worth of sleep to have been standing right there with you! I can’t even imagine. I can’t remember where but I read this article one time about old school fashion week. It talked about how shows were held in small tents. Nothing like what they are today. Anyway, the article had all these amazing photos snapped outside shows with a disposable camera. Heidi Klum and Kate moss smoking outside tents in their street fashion. It was amazing and gorgeous. Very effervescent. Your photos gave me the exact smae bubbly feeling! These just made me so happy. They made me realize how extra an outfit can become just by adding white paint to your hair, and adding a great blue eyeshadow.

February 13, 2020I love how natural and relaxed these ‘model off duty’ photographs look. You captured some wonderful moments. Their make up is so dramatic and the hair style is very eye-catching too with the the white cream or gel (or whatever that is). I wonder was their hair being dyed/treated with something or is it just a regular cream that was used to add some interest to the hair style for the show? Beautiful ladies, all of them. I like how today there is so much versatility when it comes to models, one sees all kind of types, it is not just one face type, they don’t all look the same. I have to say- I’m surprised to see so many of the models smoke. I thought models of all people don’t smoke, because smoking is so bad for one’s skin. If they don’t ditch the habit, they will regret it when they get older.
