Today I am sharing with you Gucci‘s show for Fall/Winter 2020/2021. Some of you may have seen this already but for those who have not, I am presenting this now as I feel it is a profoundly uplifting show and for me it is a beacon of light in some very dark times. It is also, one of the most exciting shows I have seen in the past five years. A brilliant concept and impeccably executed this presentation was engaging, moving and memorable. Everything is on point from the revolving stage, to the revealing lighting, to the choice of music: Ravel’s Bolero; it all came together to create an inspiring and not soon to be forgotten experience. They say it takes a village to raise a child, and in this case the child being the birthing of creativity and the spark of genius and what it takes to bring an idea to fruition. Alessandro Michele‘s homage to those beyond the scenes could not be more timely. A beautiful, touching and life-affirming show, Gucci’s presentation for Fall/Winter 2020/2021 is one for the history books. Please if you can, watch it all the way through, you will not be disappointed.
I am always so in awe of those incredible outfits that they wear – so much work goes into it, from the designer to the fabric maker to the model, it’s such an art!

OMG this show was so beautiful.
I love the music and this is so good they put the little hands at the front with the models.
Such an amazing work.
Some pieces always caught my eyes like the green emerald color and the oversize collars.

Oh my gosh! This is actually the first time I’ve seen it, Allie! Thank you so much for sharing. I actually got goosebumps watching it. First of all, I love Bolero and pretty much kinda go into a zone every time I hear it. And love how he took the backstage to onstage. Just wonderful staging. Are they the actual Gucci dressers? WOW!!!! One of the best I’ve seen for sure. (I’m a big Tom Ford fan, but Alessandro and this show…swoon)
PS I want all the tiered gowns now:)

I already saw some looks from this show but I haven’t watched it whole yet, I definitely plan to. When a show is special I like to have a good look at the whole thing and one gets a better view from video then from just photos. We definitely need some uplifting in these dark times.
They did such an amazing job with this show. The backstage is always my favorite side of fashion shows, and I have probably watched more shows from the back cause I love the vibes there, seeing how the perfection every look and having more time to check every detail while the models way to enter the stage, so I really like the idea of sharing this part with the world!

The chic fashion…my eyes kept waiting for the mint green cascading dress to come around again. And the music…I know what you mean…it was upbeat, happy, inspiring, and left me wanting more of the show! I have never watched a fashion show, so this first one will be hard to beat if I were to ever watch another one. 😉 Hope you are well, my friend!
