Last week I mentioned how I have a bad habit of losing sunglasses. It drives me bananas. I lost two pair with in a month—the first in NY during NYFW—I left them in an Uber car. And the second pair I left behind in a Monoprix store in Paris. So I don’t often plunk down a wad of cash for sunnies as I can almost garuntee that I will lose them. The most I have ever spent was $55.00 on a pair from Quay Australia—the pair I left in an Uber. So I am always on the look out for affordable sun glasses that offer a bit more then the usual suspects you see in the stores that have an under fifty dollar price tag.
So I was duly excited to have discovered the newest kid on the block when it comes to out of the box, fashion forward affordable sunnies—Giant Vintage. Giant Vintage is a retailer of sunglasses that uses dead stock materials to create unique, retro, and uber on-trend fashion forward sunnies. Calling themselves the vintage eyewear superstore—they have created quite a stir in a market that generally favors high-end designer sunnies.
This pair being worn by Nilu Yuleena Thapa of BHLM or Big Hair Loud Mouth is just one of 1000s of highly stylized sunnies that make a statement, in a where did you get those it girl moment kind of way. Plus they are affordable, and by affordable we are talking $8.00 to $30.00 for your average pair. And they are better for the environment too. Got to love that. So if you are like me and love stylish glasses but do not want spend a small fortune head over to GiantVintage.com and tell them Allie sent you. Oh and by the way they even have a link for bloggers and influencers to send photos of themselves wearing their Giant Vintage sunnies. Need I say more?
