I love working in Soho and I must say one of the perks of living in New York, is that yes, you are pretty much in the middle of it all. I like to call Soho my hood even though I do not live there, I do work there and I spend a lot of time there. And you never know who you will see roaming the streets. A few months ago I saw one of my favorite street style photographers Adam Katz Sinding prepping for a shoot. And another time I saw Nigel Barker walking down the street. And of course I do see the occasional fashion blogger, who may not be a house hold name but is generally well known in the fashion blogosphere. No I did not witness this actual shoot but I could have. This is Lauren Gould of the blog The Marcy Stop. If you are not familiar with her blog, be sure to check her out. She definitely has fashion blogging all sewn up and is quite the fashionista. She has great fashion sense and works with wonderful photographers. Although, this photo was not taken by a professional photographer, it certainly looks like it was. It was actually shot by a stylist and blogger by the name of Erica Lavelanet who has a blog called The Fashion Philosophy. Erica’s blog is fun, full of fashion and of course being a professional stylist you will find plenty of awesome looks. So if you are feeling like you are in a bit of a rut and need a little inspiration to look your fashion best be sure to check out both of these blogging beauties.

It is one of the perks in living in NYC you never know who you will bump into or see.
Thanks for sharing these lovely bloggers who has style and grace.
Oh I love Soho. So jealous that you work there. It’s one my favorite spots in NYC.
It’s always interesting to discern if people shooting on the streets of NYC are bloggers or models. And it’s nice to see that these two ladies don’t Photoshop themselves into anorexia. I can’t deal with alot of fashion blogs because of that these days.
Sounds like fun working in Soho. Imagine seeing great people randomly on a daily basis or so. What a beautiful surprise. Must be less boring than other jobs I know. 🙂
I want to be in Soho!! Sounds like you get to experience so many cool things! 😀

I love Erica’s blog! And now I will definitely checkout Lauren’s – I love finding new blogs to follow for inspiration :). I adore SoHo as well and I’m actually moving to NYC later this year. I’m nervous but excited! One thing I’m worried about though is finding a quality photographer who can take my blog photos – my Dad does it now and unfortunately he’s not moving with me. Any tips?

I’m always so envious of people who live in cities like NY. I’m planning on going to Taipei for 6 months next year, so that will be a change of scenery for me. 🙂
New York City offers any fashion blogger an infinite amount of possibilities…history, texture, landscape murals, I could go on and on!
